Cora Isaacs was sponsored by the Wendell Chamber of Commerce to go to the 4-H Western National Roundup in Denver, Colorado. Cora placed 4th in National Original Speech Contest, 5th in Fashion Review and received ribbons for both.

Business Spotlight of the Month
Visions Home Health Care
This business has moved into the old Gooding County Memorial Hospital building. Hospice Visions, Inc’s goal is successful aging. They offer a senior liaison service for successful aging. They offer Home care options for extra help, running errands, companionship and grocery shopping. They help to navigate aging in health care. They assist in home health care services. They also are there for end of life needs/hospice. Hospice works with the patient and the family. They have RN’s, social workers, they have a Chaplain
or spiritual counseling and they also have a hospice house where the family can stay with their family member when the time comes. Hospice Visions, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization run by a board. It is locally owned and operated. It was started by Tammy Slatter. They partner with Veterans and also have a teen volunteer program.
